This is where I will collect images of my projects and wips. Lately I have mostly been knitting, but I love filet crochet, sewing, embroidery, and natural dyeing. I want this to be a place for me to write about my explorations in fiber arts as well. I have a lot of goals for projects and need a way to keep me accountable. Hope you enjoy
CURRENT WIPS
Knit Socks
These socks im working on are using sock yarn my partners mom gave to me. currently I only have 3.5mm dpn's so that is what i am using.
I am hoping to get smaller dpns soon. I am using a handful of patters for this sock bc I cant help myself but overcomplicate things.
The leg of the sock is knit with a waffle stitch. it is super fun to work up. its just enough variation to keep everything interesting. it also
creates so much interest and texture i loveeee it. I also did a twisted knit ribbing. i love the way that looks also, it is very much helping to give
a more clean look to my knitting. I frogged part of it twice. first because i forgot to do increases for the foot and didnt like the heel
the second was because i did the heel wrong lol. i am bad at keeping track of my stitches and miscount often. its hard to be a knitter when u cant count lol.
knit quilt
this is probably my most ambitious current project. i am working on a gift for my partner. I am creating a ton of knit squares.

crochet afgan
i love granny squares. ive also never made a crochet afghan. I feel like i dont take advantage of the speed of crocheting enough. i also
thing a solid granny square blanket is the most perfect crochet project. granny squares are adorable and underrated imo.
anyway i am using a ton of random scrap yarn colors and stuff. its a good project to go to when i dont feel like knitting lol.
crochet is a lot easier for me so this is my current in between crochet project to do when knitting gets too hard.

natural dyeing. i thinkkk the fabric was cotton but im not sure it again is thrift store fabric. i used it to make
a cat quilt square pot holder for my grandma for christmas. various dyes, tumeric, black beans, and onion skin
butch filet crochet banner. i made this for my sweet loving butch and its in their room now! i crocheted this up
using thrift store yarn. its a HUGE spool of pink yarn i love it. filet crochet is so fun. i designed the pattern myself on excel
my first ever knit sock i did not make a second lol i just started a brand new pair
a crocheted computer mouse i made last semester (spring 2023). using thrift store yarn and fabric lol.
